From 1998 - 2009, the Massachusetts Mental Health Services Program for Youth (MHSPY) served children and teens in Cambridge, Somerville, Malden, Medford, and Everett who were having problems at home, school, or in the community.

MHSPY offered coordinated, individualized, family-focused and community-based care to these children and their families so that children could live at home, stay in school, and continue to grow and learn.

MHSPY was a collaborative project of the State Departments of Medicaid, Children and Families, Youth Services (juvenile justice), Mental Health, and Education.
